ABOUT US
The Pre-Pharmacy Society at UCLA is a student-run organization whose primary mission is to serve undergraduate students pursuing pharmacy-related careers. Through various speakers, field trips, peer mentorship, and informational meetings, we strive to keep our members informed on issues that concern them as future healthcare practitioners. Furthermore, we make every effort to develop UCLA’s students into future leaders in the field of pharmacy.

Application workshops
Join us during our PharmCAS workshops where we teach you the basics of pharmacy school applications, from site navigation instruction to specific school supplementals. Learn tips and tricks from current applicants as well as alumni about the interview process and MMIs .
Pharmacy networking
Pharmacy networking is integral to your future success as a pharmacist. Here at PPS, we strive to invite various presenters who represent the diverse options within the pharmacy field. Past notable presenters include current pharmacy students (UCSF, UCSD, USC, UOP, Western) and current pharmacists (community, hospital, industry, law,). We also host an annual Networking Night where guest speakers from all fields of pharmacy come and talk one-on-one with our members.
Volunteer Opportunities
PPS offers plenty of volunteering opportunities that can help you gain a community perspective as a current student and future pharmacist. We provide various events that our members can choose from, such as Light the Night Walk, middle school drug education programs, and many more.
Mentorshop Programs
In PPS Mentorship, an older undergraduate mentor will be paired with a younger undergraduate mentee in order for the pair to grow through pharmacy career goals, academics, personal wellness, professional progress, and personal development! Perks of being part of PPS Mentorship include forming new friendships, partaking in special mentorship events throughout the year, having priority in upcoming events (i.e. SCPPS), and winning awards/prizes every quarter.
